    Before the company was purchased by Highlander, Biamp was a fun and exciting place to be. The new owner, CEO, and board have changed all of that. I had high hopes the new ownership and CEO would be a good thing, but unfortunately I do not feel it is. Are sales good? Sure. But that is not all that should matter. The culture that made Biamp what it was is gone. They have pushed people out who helped set the foundation.

    Biamp's roots are very Portland and this is being erased. This new group from Dallas is extremely out of touch. Dallas is not Portland. Learn the culture here or you will continue to lose good people. Stop spending so much on the executive teams offices and furniture and invest in your people, equipment and your facilities. Stop letting your executive assistance push people around and meddle in other departments. And most importantly start communicating with the employees. Every CEO or person in leadership prior to the new one was open, and honest with what is going on. Nobody knows what is happening and it creates rampant speculation and people are very worried with what the future holds.

    Ich habe mich über einen Personalvermittler beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 2 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juni 2010 bei Biamp Systems (Beaverton, OR (Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika)).

    Vorstellungsgespräch

    There are two parts to the interview:
    1. Short interview with three people.
    2. All day interview.

    The short screening interview lasts for 15-30 minutes. I was asked about object-oriented design and some system questions, mostly about thread scheduling.

    The all-day interview is broken down to hour-long interviews, two interviwers each. One of the interview is over lunch. Most of the all-day interview was non-technical.

    The all-day interview includes a tour of the company and lasts from 8 to 5.

    • I dont' think it was a necesserily difficult question, more it was asked at 4:30, and it was difficult to think after such a long day: swap characters in an array in place, no extra memory.   1 Antwort
