Leider hat die Firma immer wieder Entlassungswellen in den letzten Monaten und Jahren gehabt. Alles wird der Profitabilität untergeordnet. Es ist verständlich, dass die Firma den Erwartungen der Investoren gerecht werden will. Wenn du jedoch als Arbeitnehmer einen sicheren Arbeitsplatz suchst, solltest du hier genau überlegen.

- A fun project to be engaged with that has a positive effect on the world. - Aside from middle and top management, the company has many great souls to work with. - A lot of room to shape the tech department and your team (unfortunately likely to change soon) - Life / Work balance is generally good

The newly created middle management is does not live up to the company's cultural values or to my expecations of management: * A working relationship that is based on mistrust. * There is a lack of people skills. * Managers can be unsupportive and give little guidance. * No metrics or expectations are set * Feedback is done the opposite to common best practices. Unfortunately, thee is a Toxic environment for management that includes A lot of unnecessary drama, broken phones and politics behind the scenes. There is a lack of accountability for choices taken in middle and high management and ends up with scapegoating. Focus on failures and disregard for successes and achievements. Low interest in agile practices done well. The tech department is dealing with nitty-gritty details to hit certain KPIs. If you come with the expectation of shaping human development, you should tame it and expect it to come slowly.

People and teams are great, technologies are very up to date. Pretty good work life balance and unlimited home office.

Personal development and salary is secondary importance, not very competitive in the current market, no bonus, due to massive growth, it is very chaotic to see where the company is heading. Leadership as usual, all white middleclass men... Career development options are limited.
