I almost became a full-time employee here. I really, really wish future employees read this before it’s too late for y’all. I interview with them back in Early March. It took almost 2 months till an offer was made. Location is right next to the airport. I AM NOT JOKING. So drive will be a killer on your gas and car to say the least. We were in negotiations on the offer. 1st one was insulting and low-below the avg. For seniors in the Atlanta area. When I asked for 8k more they initially accepted at first plus a 1.5k bonus which wasn’t guaranteed. After I asked for a counter offer because I said the bare minimum was what I said, which was the added 8k on top of the Initial offer, they came back and practically went back on their word and offered me 5k less than the agreed upon plus 10% performance bonus(not guaranteed). I asked the acquisitions person, “I’m confused, why is it lower than what I initially request and what was agreed upon?” This response was the biggest lie I ever heard of in any negotiating talks for an offer I’ve ever witnessed/seen. They said, “HR okayed that, but the CEO slammed it down.” There is NO WAY especially for a luxury brand car company that the commander in chief of a company has time to review salaries that are well below the executive level marker and if they did that’s a micro-managing environment that’s not healthy one bit. Also against my better judgement on what I saw on Glassdoor with the reviews it’s led me to think all of it wasn’t all true. But it is. Sadly it is. Stay away from MHP America they don’t care enough about employees there, the benefits are slim to none at all. Sick days are accrued not given upfront. 9 PTO days— not even two weeks! And the position was to be the right hand of the HoF with a team of 3 people. Me being one of the 3. Biggest con was being under-valued in compensation. This is coming from someone whose been working in accounting for nearly a decade. Very concerning and sad to see what they push over here. Again. STAY AWAY.
